"Failed Load Order Operation" Error

PoP questions

I can't seem to ever find a castle that doesn't have 400+ troops while i have like 140 troops max, then usually they are all murder pits with one entrance is this normal?
Also by joining a knighthood order does that mean i can't create my own without leaving it?
Also what are some good knighthood orders/ faction troops to get for my army?
