Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. "No item selected" — cannot refine at forge

I just started playing Bannerlord, and with Smithing being one of the new features from old M&B I wanted to try my hand at it. I got my character's Smithing up to 60, and recruited a Smith companion as well.

However, now I've suddenly run into a problem when I go to Refine something at the forge, I cannot select any of the items in the recipe list, and since I can't select anything I can't Refine anything. That means I can't make charcoal, and a life without charcoal means a live without smithing.

Has anyone else encountered this problem before? I've tried reloading my save, going to a different town, restarting the game, etc.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
