How do I defend Laria against the Baccus Empire? Prophesy of Pendor

I'm with the kingdom of Sarleon and I am struggling to defend. They have around 2500 and I have 1200. I've always successfully defended against other factions with those numbers. Do you guys have any strategies? Or should I let them take the city and come back and take from them another time?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
