Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Is the beta worth downloading?

I have never played on the beta, because I always just want to have the most stable release version, but reading the patch notes I feel like I want to be up to date with features.

So I suppose my question is this,

Is the beta stable enough to play on consistently?
