And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
Ive decided to metagame the hell out of my current vanilla playthrough and go for an army comp of only the best of the best from a faction and recruiting nothing else from them. If another faction has a better version of that unit, I simply let them die for my glory and replace them with upgrades. Vlandian Banner knights, Battanian Fian Champions, Sturgian heavy spearmen and line breakers, with some imperial cataphracts mixed in for variety. My party is smashing parties up to 50% larger than it with minimal losses. While playing as a Vlandian noble reclaiming his birthright is fun, my current playthrough of becoming the God-Emperor of Calaradia is a blast.
