What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? They keep coming with 1100 troop armies and I keep destroying them, shouldn’t the...

What’s the phrase in Ck3? “Callus Bellus” or “reason for war”

Idk why a game that focuses on realism and immersion has such a streamlined mechanic for declaring war, dishing out feifs, and voting at councils after a castle/town is taken. I’d rather those settlements remains in the hands of the lord that actually takes a town or castle until the war is over. Then the council will take place at the kings home city. Gives you a reason to walk thru the city or visit to the keep and creates an interesting moment where many lords will be in one place at one time (not just coincidentally).

Also there are plenty of reasons they could have in game for going to war other than “they’re weaker let’s kill all of them and eat their children” 🤣

With other mods plus a “Fog of war” mods or updated that makes intelligence gathering and messengers part of the game experience. Maybe you leave a rogue companion in the Kings city and order him to raise a small army inside the walls and storm the keep during these council meetings. Of course this would make war and peace and asset/troop consolidation part of the gameplay as well as giving players reason to walk thru a city where other mods like random assassinations attempts can take place.

Just thinking out loud. I think I’m starting to get burnt out on the vanilla experience. Crusader Kings 3 is fun but the intersting thing about Bannerlord is seeing the “rise and fall” narrative play out in various world states. Who lives who dies and how, etc.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
