Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

Request castle be awarded to you vs your husband?

After a long journey to find the one and finally get married to him, did not waste my time. I started to flatten all the way whoever faction that is at war at my husband's faction

Now what i didn't know earlier is that once you besieged a castle, you can award it to yourself, instead of your husband

Now what should i request if my ultimate goal is to conquer the world under my husband as the king. What i understand is,

Request castle to be awarded to me = i get income from rent

Request castle to be awarded to my husband =

  1. I can keep my army for free (no need to pay them), which is important because i have hundreds of slaver chiefs rated total at about 4200 dinars, and i want to replace them with a slower, but more efficient army at siege. But in the same time, I don't want to lose my long term investment so i might want to use these high mobility army again in the future

  2. I can get unlimited army for free, which saves my time from going from village to village for recruitment

Now considering my ulimate goal, do the advantages of awarding a castle to my husband really worth more than the long term passive income the castle rent will give me?

If it's a city, i can get much more from rent + tax, but this time it's only a castle
