So what's new in the tactical department for Bannerlord?

One element that I felt was lacking in the first game is tactics and strategy, I felt pretty limited with what I can do with my army, be it formations or even basic movement manuevers.

Did they say they are improving this aspect in Bannerlord? And if so, how are they doing it?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
