STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. Request: sum total tooltip

I'll probably get made fun of but I was hoping if the devs saw this they'd consider making a tooltip that does the addition of healthy and wounded troops.

I'm dyslexic and so it's hard to keep the numbers in my head - how many healthy plus wounded ok then minus my max party size... it gets frustrating for me :(

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
