STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. Will modding tools allow us to easily make a new world map?

It'd be interesting to see a real-world map mod or Europe mod for this game once modding tools are added, and as an experienced mapper I would be happy to make the Europe map for such a mod. However I'm curious as to if this has been discussed to be a planned feature, or if making a world map will be harder than heightmaps or drawing it in a terrain editor?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
