I have been testing quite a bit Naute vs Legionaries as I want to make a Infantry playthrough with Empire only units and I noticed Legionaries are just ass now. Naute even with worse armor just outperform and that even in battles where they are outnumbered and/or fight mixed armies against t5/t4 with archers and cav. Anybody else finding they never want to barter for peace?
I wipe the floor with them and they just rock back up with another 500 strong army half hr later.
Its very annoying having to watch that half of the map if the bloody Empire try and have a go as well.
Any tips for neutering them? I've finally managed to get 2x Vassals which is helping however I struggle without at least 3 Merc companies
