RBM includes a gigantic stealth nerf to Fian Champions

RBM introduces cutting arrows in addition to the piercing ones. Most troop trees go from cutting arrows at the low tiers and upgrade to bodkin (pierce) arrows later on. Pierce damage has always been superior to cut and that's why cut damage usually has a higher base damage score. Fians (including champs) have the opposite progression. They have P damage from tier 2 to 4 but at tier 5 they trade them in for barbed arrows. While the base damage goes up from 110 to 135, cut damage is so much worse against armored troops it serves as a huge nerf. I tested in custom battles and their performance is disappointing. Dismounted Druzhinnik Champions solidly beat Fian Champions. Dismounted Khan's Guards absolutely annihilated the fian champions. Imperial t5 archers beat regular fians in a close fight. Asurai Master archers absolutely stomped the regular fians. The tide however turns if you use t4 archers. Battanian Heros won vs Asarai Experienced archers and imperial veteran archers. ...

Question about persuasion checks

So right now I am extremely annoyed at the persuasion checks. Extremely. So basically I've been tryna yknow recruit some lords for my kingdom, however i keep getting critical fails. (Most of these people have 0 relation). On one extreme case (I save and reload the save when i fail), I got a critical fail on the first one SEVEN TIMES IN A ROW. To put that in perspective, that is close to a ONE IN TWO MILLION chance, assuming I did my math right. There have been many other times where I get 2-3 times in a row, or just constant ineffectives with some fails mixed in. I get that the persuasion checks shouldnt be easy, but this is just completely defying odds. The odds displayed are usually a 43% crit success and a 13% crit fail, yet im getting the crit fail majority of the time. Basically, are the statistics just wrong, or is this some kind of bug, or am I just really unlucky lmao. One other thing to note is that after I got 7 in a row wrong, I just ended up waiting and following the lord until they got to a settlement and talked to them there. That actually ended up working first try. Dunno if that's coincidence but...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it. Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features. (This mod includes source btw) https://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/6243/?tab=description Also, I am hoping to support it in the future, i.e through content updates and bug fixes. I hope everyone likes it!! :D Submitted August 11, 2018 at 09:48PM by amazing_lily https://ift.tt/2KMd9rK
