STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. [Gekokujo] faction relation/mechanics question.

Are you supposed to NOT take Lords prisoners in Gekokujo? Every time I take a Lord prisoner at least 2 other clans declare war on me, even if they're completely neutral to both me and the other clan with no treaties or related family members, and with high relation with their great lords, and no fief in my territory claimed by them. Am I missing something here?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
