Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

Problem with wars in bannerlord

This is probably gonna be trash but im gonna do it anyways. Wars in warband were long, bloody conflicts where many battles were fought but the front rarely moved. The sieges were long affairs that took many days and weeks to prepare and execute This is accurate to the time period. Wars in bannerlord are the opposite. They seem more like blitzkrieg rather than medival warfare. Cities are constantly being taken over and fought back. Armies are being assembled in a matter of a day. Losing one battle can doom one side to lose. This makes the endgame unplayable because 2 or 3 factions take over the whole map by the time you can establish a kingdom. It also seems that the aserai, vlandians and kuzaits always make it to the endgame, while all other factions collapse. The wars in bannerlord need a big revamp otherwise the endgame will just be a big, pointless grind for those who create their own kingdom

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
