Bannerlord's greatest features are your imagination and your own fantasy - How to enjoy Bannerlord again

Why I Still Love Bannerlord Despite Its Flaws Hello everyone I've been thinking about this for a while, and I wanted to share it with anyone who enjoys Bannerlord, or wants to enjoy it more. If you're already having fun throughout the entire game, that's great. This post probably isn't aimed at you. But if you've ever felt that Bannerlord has incredible potential yet somehow loses its magic after the early game, maybe this perspective will help. I completely understand the criticism the game receives. Bannerlord could have been so much more. The quests become repetitive, diplomacy lacks depth, and many of its mechanics never evolve as much as they could. The early game is exciting, the mid game starts to slow down and the late game often turns into a grind. I agree with all of that. And yet... I still enjoy every stage of the game. The reason is simple; I don't rely on the game to tell my story. I create one myself. To me, Bannerlord feels less like a tra...

Forced to abandon a campaign?

Is there a mechanic to force players to abandon campaigns? I have fought several battles within the space of 3 days form this save file, from different factions, on different terrain, with different armies, sometimes I have more troops, sometimes I have better troops, sometimes it's even, I even set the Player Troop recieved damaged to very easy and still lost at ~100 troops difference. I have 40 less troops in this latest battle, and about 60 of the enemy is simply recruits, but they still win.

I fought the empire with a bigger army and they won. I fought Battania with a smaller elite army and they won. I flipped the script entirely. I let the AI control the troops. I took direct control. I have been stuck at this exact point for the last several days. I abandoned the save file and took another go tonight, tried literally everything I could think of from leaving the kingdom to running, and no matter what happens within the next three days I will be attacked by an army, and I will lose no matter the balance of power.

I have no mods installed on this playthrough. It is purely a vanilla game. From what I can tell I have just been removed from Bannerlord. What the hell is going on and can anyone explain this to me? I just want to enjoy some chill Vlandian empire building, but instead it seems my troops have rebelled in a sinister and entirely passive-aggressive way.

I can't besiege anything. i can't sit around and wait because my feifs are apparently the only ones anyone cares about. I can't pick a fight. No matter what happens a massive army comes out of nowhere. We have more power? Nope, they have 1500 men just waiting to fight me. We have more castles and fiefs? Doesn't matter, mine are the only ones anyone cares about.

EDIT: I almost forgot the most important part, I end up stuck in a dungeon every time, and the game just seems pretty convinced I don't get out within a week. I'm forced to either passively sit there just watching the game, even though everything made it clear I should have won, or not play. It sucks.

Optimal weapons in Smithing (Forging): a second, deeper (?), look - Blades/Heads + Guards/Banners and Accessories. Bit of a letdown

Hello everyone. It’s been one month since part 1 was released (This one https://www.reddit.com/r/Bannerlord/comments/12yqhq5/optimal_weapons_in_smithing_forging_a_first_look/ ).I’m here posting again to go forwards in the established direction from part 1.There will be a TL;DR section at the end. A little recap is in order: last time we crafted every single possible weapon in Bannerlord, but ignoring guards, pommels, grips, accessories (From now on, "Parts 2/3/4")... and only switched between different blades/heads ("Parts 1"), which I expected to determine the overall worth of the item much more than the other parts (This proved to be the case, according to today's data).Furthermore, there were no changes in size at all, so all components were crafted only in standard size. Again, I've updated the Google drive folder I've been using up until now. It contains a series of screenshots detailing the weapon's name (Which in turn is a combination of the...
