Last played Bannerlord 2 in Dec or Jan. How is it now?

Last time I played a lot of systems, especially late-game systems, were just fundamentally broken. Have things improved? If I play through it again, will it be a substantially different experience? I enjoyed it quite a bit for most of my playthrough, but as it progressed, I ran into more and more stuff that was just clearly not functional, and it really dampened my enthusiasm for the game.
