What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? I'm 20 hours into the game and this was the greatest battle yet

We were besieging Epicrotea when the Northern Empire's main army appeared behind us. They waited while we built our camp, and reinforcements arrived. Two of our mercenary clans abandoned the army and our numbers dropped to half of the enemies. They grew to around a 1000 and attacked us. We held a very powerful defensive point with the river next to us and behind us was a chunk of land where we kept the archers, connected by a bridge which our infantry protected. Their cavalry couldn't flank us and our horsemen (lead by me) would constantly kite the enemy, causing confusion and chaos amongst the ranks, completely disrupting their advancement. It became a massacre for awhile but there was so many of them. I was downed around the 3/4 mark of the battle. Never realised just how powerful a big crossbow volley can be, even when your charging through on a really fast horse lmao.

But we still won.

We pressed on with the siege. It was decisive, but we outfought them and took control of Epicrotea... for now.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
