So, I end up loading into a fight after reading the Auto Resolve where it says that the battle location takes place in the "Plains" as well as looking visually at where im located on the map with not a single tree in sight around me, and then i get a marsh surrounded by trees. Begs another question, if I would have auto resolved, would it have auto'd on that map I loaded into or would it have auto'd with a Plains modifier to cavalry/horse archer troops? submitted by /u/tjburke93123 [link] [comments]
I'm not sure if this applies to only prophecy of pendor or the whole game. In pendor, I find that my faction (ravenstern) is much more active and smart in war. they keep sieging cities and castles while sarleon is stuck raiding villages. when sarleon does try to attack a ravenstern castle, they are usually stopped. The ravenstern marshal manages to gather all the lords (2k+ troops) and sieges cities with 700 defenders, meaning that even if i did not join the battle they would win. In another save game, the d'shars also straight up wiped the floor with the empire.
It's like how the vaegirs get wiped out easily in native.
why are some factions just rolling over like this?
