Keep re-fighting same battle, end with broken options, 0 enemies, cannot capture

I've fought this battle multiple times and always gotten the same result.

I am raiding an enemy village, the enemy leader arrives to stop me, I defeat them in battle, only to be dropped to a nonfunctional "You have encountered (party)" screen with three options, "Capture the enemy" "Try to get away" and "Surrender"

​

"Capture" and "Surrender" are nonfunctional. Trying to get away is the only thing that works and it causes me to lose troops and supplies and all loot after the battle.

​

I've tried multiple iterations of this battle, including cancelling the raid in order to attack them first, only to get the same issue.

I am using these major campaign mods: Calradia at War, Calradia Factions Enhanced, Huaxia, Tetsojin, Looters Plus, Improved Garrisons, Realistic Battle Module, True Battle Loot, Allegiance Overhaul, Separatism, My Little Warband,

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
