I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? So yesterday when I went to play the launcher started on multiplayer which it never did before and me being used to just hitting the play button on the launcher pressed it without paying much attention.
It wasn't until I loaded in when I saw I was on multiplayer and when I left and restarted the game the launcher opened on the multiplayer section and it still does this, I can launch singleplayer just fine but that's a little annoying.
What's more annoying however is how the game behaves now. It launches in windowed mode now and I have to wait until I get to the main menu to fix it. I can switch back to fullscreen just fine but now whenever I go back to the options for whatever reason the "Cancel" and "Done" buttons sometimes do not do anything. They literally do not work and I have to hit ESC and try again, this happens more often on the main menu than in game. Also the game's performance has slowed down as on the world map and in battle the blur of a texture not having loaded in yet is more noticeable now(I have a good computer so I'm not very used to seeing this) The graphics are also just straight up worse now despite my graphics settings being unchanged with most of them already being on the highest settings.
The game still functions but these minor things are a bit jarring, verifying game files didn't work. Haven't tried reinstalling yet. Any other suggestions/anyone else had this problem?
