In the previous versions of the game I remember that setting horse archers to "charge" would make them circle the enemy while showering them with arrows, and "engage" will make them retreat from enemy's melee range while shooting as they retreat. In this version it doesn't seem to be working that way? I've sent them to charge and about half of them went melee and the other half was randomly walking around, shooting at the shieldwall's shields. What commands should I be using for Horse Archers? I am playing am at war with Battania at the moment and trying to increase my relationships with them in order to take their castle and then declare my own kingdom. I want to have friendships so they dont attack when I finally do delcare. But atm my main source of income asides from loot is caravans, the battanians hired mercenary forces and they're destroying my caravans. Would it harm my relationships to execute these merc leaders just to get them out of the way? Would it damage relations with the battanians due to them being the overlords of the mercs? thanks
