What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? I just won a battle against a garrison force of 600 and 400ish militia, with just my 207 man party, it was painful. Advice to make it less would be appreciated.

I am not part of a Kingdom, the enemy is auto Sallying out at me, and I’m fighting Rhegea she is in her last city.

My army make up was.

40 archers - Fians, Fian Champions, and Battanian Heroes.

60 Infantry - Heroic line breakers, Heavy Axeman, and Heavy Spearman.

104 Calvary - Mostly Imperial equites with a few exceptions.

2 heavily armored companions, one who acts as the commander of my archers and the other my hero troop for Calvary.

I started off my waging 2 quick charge and retreat battles to destroy any enemy range and Calvary forces. In total I kept my losses between those battles down to 15ish Calvary.

In the next fight I set my archers to scatter, engage. My infantry to shield wall, engage.

Then I told my Calvary to follow me, I got within throwing axe range before ordering them to charge. Once we came out the other side I had them follow me again, rinse and repeat. All this while they are getting attacked by my other force.

Bonus question what do the hero troops even do?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
