What is fast mode?

Is there a mod to make troops more expensive?

I'm finding the economical aspect of the game to be a bit easy with selling off equipment after battles and my passive income for 2 caravans and 2 t3 workshops and two fiefs. I'm at 2m denars without even trying, just buying up all the troops i see, leveling them and storing them in my cities.

I'm looking for a more of a challenge with the economy of the game, having to manage my army and re-think my compositions depending on my $$, etc. Anything like that exist?
