How do I even get a stable enough income to maintain my 75 man army purely of swadian knights? Its extremely expensive to maintain and I know the way to go is dyeworks but they're very expensive to set up.
How do I get the king to give me fiefs as a vassal? He always gives them to the most powerful lords in his army instead of me so how do I secure a few fiefs, castles and cities to eventually rebel and start my kingdom that way?
So once I've started a kingdom, how does giving fiefs to companions work? Do I give them all my fiefs or just leave them for myself? Which companions should I give fiefs to? What happens to all the nobles of a faction when you defeat them, do they just join your team? In regards to the garrisons, do I train all the troops I want to garrison on my castle in my party or is there an alternative?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
