Hail everyone! So, after multiple failed attempts and reaching some dead ends I finally started a campaign which is taking me somewhere, but I'm not sure about my next move. Currently, I have two major cities and two castles to my name and the leader of my faction truly favours me. At this point, the leader has given me two border cities and two border castles (a city and castle in far west and two others in far east), either by chance or AI's calculations. Now if I betray the faction I'll have a kingdom torn apart. Now if I consider starting an independent kingdom, the distance between my cities makes defending them almost impossible. What would you do in this case? (Does AI do this intentionally? I mean it is really wise to give the player two distant cities and keep him in stalemate.)
