Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Why am I losing relation for helping villagers?

I just started and played for about 5 hours, every time I do something good for villagers I lose relation. For example I just helped a village fight off deserters and we won, I preceded to to not take the gold and told them to keep it, and I went from 10 to 8 relation. I’m on ps5 and idk if it’s a text bug but has no affect or am I losing relation.
