I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. I’ve recently started my own kingdom and have 8 clans under my banner, I got them when they were either poor or very poor, now that I have them I’ve given them all a castle each(that’s all I’ve taken so far) & they’re still all poor and can’t gather many troops is the best way to get them wealthier to gift them some gold to start?or is it just better to wait and conquer more fiefs for them?
