Genuinely. I want to find this guy, I have to trek across the entire goddamn map to find him because he seems to know how to teleport. If anyone from the devs are reading this, here's my suggestions: When a courier comes to you, add an extra promt asking us if wed like to hire the courier. In taverns, add a courier that we can hire for a sum. Or, use other nobles or people. So, here's what I mean by that last point. When you want to recruit a clan and make if a vassal, you must ask the clan leader to join you. If you try to ask anyone else in tje clan, they defer you to the leader. Well, what if when we do that, we could tell the person to deliver a message to the leader next they see them. Also, this could make declaring war more immersive and thrilling. Because now they could make it so you need to hire a courier to declare war on someone. So, if it takes several days to send the message, you could send the cour...
I've been thinking I'd like to see some more combat synergies from the non-combat skills, e.g:
- Steward - quality control --> better armour rating / armour piercing or something for troops
- Medicine - alchemist --> poison / damage over time attacks for your weapons or commanded troops. A crafting system for alchemy would also be cool, so you can find different ingredients for different poisons for instance (maybe roguery could allow you to poison the water of an opposing army and make their archers less accurate, or lower health a little, reduce damage etc.)
- Engineering --> already the crossbow synergy there plus siege stuff obviously
Also I'd like to see scouting skills grant the ability to ambush, so you can basically plant yourself down in a chokepoint with a radius around your party. You go invisible, and every hostile party that gets near does a scouting skill check or something and if they fail they trigger an ambush where you get some good terrain advantages. But to balance you get disorganised if the ambush fails, or it triggers a standard battle instead? Also larger parties would be worse at ambushing.
Curious what people think.
