Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Looking for a mod like Serve as Soldier

Getting back into the game after a while, I really like all the updates the game has seen, but I can't seem to find anything like my old favorite mod, Serve as Soldier. I just really like the idea of basically being a regular soldier working their way up the ranks before becoming a big-shot, however it seems like the original mod has been abandoned.

Are there any mods being actively maintained along these lines?
