I'm enjoying the new patch || Kingdoms actually lose or die || Starting a kingdom doesn't feel like getting ganged up on
I like this new patch. I get that some notable people like Strat gaming got issues with it cuz of the combat and stuff (but as a shitter player with 225 hours in the game, it wasn't that noticeable for me)
I like that kingdoms actually disappear. My biggest gripe in my first playthrough is making a plan to expand but then have minor kingdoms with no settlements suddenly declare war and take a weak one or cause casualties or just in general disrupt operations. It feels more grounded or realistic. (i would tweak it so that, they don't disappear or die immediately after all territories, maybe make it so that clans of the kingdom would slowly leave one-by-one until it couldn't sustain itself and then die.)
I like that when I made my first kingdom, i didn't immediately get 2 or 3 kingdoms declare war but something more gradual.
I like that certain kingdoms don't get dogpiled or murdered outright but actually fight back. Case in point, Battania actually doing something (altho they did get wrecked later on)
My biggest gripe is workshops. I don't get how they work
What do you guys think?
