Heian Period Japan build?

I’m trying to build a Japanese time relevant army. I know that Japan wasn’t super powerful during the Heian period. They predominately used horse archers and skirmishes and sneak attacks. The horse archer heavy armies are basically useless in the game against any opponent with shields. I’ve been using kuzhait noble archer builds but it’s not enough. Not sure why I'm not getting fiefs

I've read in multiple places that when you are at war with a faction and convince a clan in that faction to join your kingdom then you receive the fiefs they hold. But I've tried it twice now with the same results so I'm trying to figure out if they patched that or if this was all just bullshit

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features.
