I just came back to the game after a year hiatus, and I'm thrilled they finally actually added mechanics rather than just doing endless bug and balance patches that somehow break every mod with every patch. I discovered the sneaking tutorial, and then found out that basically every stealth kill or every other stealth kill gives a level of roguery. (5 focus points) now I'm wondering what's the point of alleys anymore. They were never particularly good, but at least there was an argument to be made that they increased roguery. But now that I can just go farm hideout stealth missions, earn way more money, keep my companions in my party, and not gain crime in the process, I'm wondering what purpose alleys serve anymore? So I used up two of my warnings for this early in the game to finish some very easy battles/ finish off routing enemies because I'm lazy and impatient. No big deal, I cheat sometimes to skip "boring" parts of the game.
The problem is that I just used cheats to instakill a bandit lair, because I know they aren't going to take out any of my companions and it's not fun for me. I already had to find the damn thing. Little did I know that this would count as an actual battle, and now I can't get any more achievement rewards. Of course, right after I finished that battle, but before it tells me that I am now cucked, I save. The only save for this profile I have.
Is there any way to recover? I think it's really lame that a mod would punish you for cheating in a single player game in the first place. Why do you care if I cheat to have fun...It's not multiplayer!
