I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. When I first started playing Warband, I was Nords all the way. I was, and still am, a huge fan of Vikings. But I noticed that compared to the other factions, they kinda got the shit end of the stick when it comes to aesthetics. It's all brown and grey. The Nord Huscarl, the most powerful infantryman in the game, is covered from neck to knee in poop brown. Not to mention that the Nords really only have two distinct helmets, and they're both hideous. I was excited to get my hands on a spectacle helmet, only to find it kind of a chore to look at. It looks like it was made out of used tinfoil. Even the Swadians and Rhodoks, who are both based on Western Europe, managed to be visually appealing in their own ways. But it seems like the Nords just got the leftovers when it came to equipment. Am I alone in this?
