Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Is there a mod that is in the same time period as Total War: Attila?

I really like the time period that Total War: Attila is set in, but I'm having doubts about actually buying the game because of all of the optimization problems that I've heard about. That being said, are there any similar Warband mods that cover the same historical period? (Less plate armor and armored horses) Thanks.
