I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. Seriously, I've seen most of the troops in the mod and no troops have blunt weapons. That's what I do in every mod, create an army made of blunt weapon troops, preferably cavarly, and enslave every poor soul on the road. Are there really no troops with those weapons, or am I missing something ?
