Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. How do you personally find best to make money and keep steady income without tournaments?

What do you buy where, and how do you get the funds to do so? I'm not new to the game, but I'm certainly foul at the trade and financial aspect of the game, and I'd like to know where I should invest my money first, before building armies and conquering my enemies.
