Choice of skermisher cav

I have 1/4th my army as horse archers. In the early game I got a bunch of bandits that evolved into cav. Kept them for the most part but they're mostly dead or sent away since I don't have the veterans perk yet. My heavy cav is dwindling. And that's worrying me. The few I have are pure melee shock cav. What I'm interested in are ones that can toss javelins. I think batanians get one that emerges from the batanian skirmisher line. Any other suggestion for this kind of cav? What I'm looking for is, javelin, Lance/spear, shield, sword. These tend to be better at countering enemy horse archer cav/keep as bodyguard cav, from my experience.

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features. How do I get into the major leagues?

How do I get out of being classified as a minor faction? I’m constantly at war, usually fighting two wars at once with my immediate neighbors, and I’m starting to suspect it’s because the game still considers me a minor faction. I’m nearly clan rank 6, with three vassals and basically a good chunk of the Sturgian lands, plus Epicoratoa, and now I’m starting to push into Battanian lands, so I have no idea how I’m still “minor”.
