STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. Mod Help

Mod Help

I just downloaded my first Mod from NexusMods (eagle rising) I put it in the correct spot and made sure unblock the dll flie. However, after all that when i go to play the mod, I click the right boxes and then press play. It just loads the native game without the mod coming up. Can someone see what I am doing wrong here? Do i need to enable the sandbox or something else? Also, for the record I tried this with another mod, and got the same exact issue so obviously I am doing something wrong here. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
