STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. Problem with name generator.

I've got a bit of an issue with the random name generator right now.

I remember back in 1.57 the generator gave names that were culture appropriate, but now in 1.58 no matter which culture I take I keep getting only Battanian (?) names. Like I choose Aserai and the name generator keeps giving me names like Col and other Celtic names.

I've got a bunch of mods installed, but I just did a clean install with no mods and still no change. So does anyone know what might be the issue ?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
