Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Problem with name generator.

I've got a bit of an issue with the random name generator right now.

I remember back in 1.57 the generator gave names that were culture appropriate, but now in 1.58 no matter which culture I take I keep getting only Battanian (?) names. Like I choose Aserai and the name generator keeps giving me names like Col and other Celtic names.

I've got a bunch of mods installed, but I just did a clean install with no mods and still no change. So does anyone know what might be the issue ?
