Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. I'm noticing that when battling an army I've got more chance of winning in simulation mode than I do if I fight it myself.
This is despite some great performances from me. For instance during a siege i got behind a large cross bow and decapitated 37 enemy. Pretty much constant shooting into a circle of enemy.
Despite this, I kept losing. I really wanted the character points but couldn't win the battle, even though my army was automated.
However, reloading the game and I would easily win on simulation. ..is this a known issue?
Also, does falling during a battle have an impact on soldier moral? Would I be better off hiding in a tower or does it have no effect if I fall?
