And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
You don't have to stay anywhere forever...
In a world of empire, barbarian hordes and Salic Law a light glimmers in the south. Despite the violent civil wars of the past the Rhodoks managed a peaceful transfer of power from old King Harlot to new King Nethor. Seizing upon his mandate, he exiled the runner-up in the election: the irredentist Count Mako of Culmarr. He was exiled on grounds of collaborating with Duke Fenix of Tevarin. He cited evidence uncovered in the Black Bear that Count Mako had secretly accepted 10,000 Denars to help push a pro-Swadian agenda.
It was quietly determined to exile the former Count to the Nordic lands far in the north. Mako accepted a position as Jarl in King Smug Alpaca court. Thus he was put into a sealed carriage and sent across King Saultnami’s Vaegir Empire to Sargoth.
A ferocious warrior on the field of battle Jarl RubbingMyAxe was ill-equipped to manage fields of grain. The spring harvest was a weak one and unless a solution is found the Nords will have to tighten their belts come winter. King Smug Alpaca announced a final feast because strict rationing would begin. Though Jarl Mako did take Duke Fenix’s money, he blamed him for his exile. Duke Fenix pulled his support for the former count after looking at flawed internal polling that showed he had the domestic support to become Rhodok king. Seeing an opportunity to prove himself to his new king and get revenge on Duke Fenix, Jarl Mako hatched a plot.
During feast Jarl Mako casually dropped knowledge of the existence of Calradia’s largest chicken farm in the sleepy coastal Swadian town of Tevarin. King Smug Alpaca silently stood and the hall fell silent. He raised a horn of the strongest Nordic liquor and downed it. He shouted…
In Meta Terms
Welcome to the 7th Calradic Tale. This event will see the Nords fight the Swadians. The Battle map will see Nord raiders fight Swadian. The winner will siege one of our custom siege maps.
The event will be a best of 5 battle map with followed by a best of 3 sieges.
To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required.
