Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Playing as a Vassal/mercenary is more fun than playing as a King

Whenever I start a new game I really loved the process as a Vassal but once you play as a King, theres so much micromanaging because the system and A.i is horrendous.

With constant warfare that you fight by yourself(your vassals dont form armies and even with monetary/resource support still fields weak troops type) vs enemy A.I who somehow is smarter and make big armies(vassals).

Can someone explain why enemy vassal A.I is smarter?
