Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. The only way this could've been better is if Monchug died instead of his companion. submitted by /u/Glorf_Warlock [link] [comments]

Escorting caravans-- (not the quest)

I remember there was a way to escort a random caravan (not a quest) and get paid for it. Except I cannot figure out how to do it anymore. This is using Diplomacy mod.

Right clicking brings up the standard options "Move here" and "Accompany" like it does for everything. Talking to the caravan gives me the standard options of demanding a toll or attacking the caravan. I'm my own faction and friendly (10+) with the caravans factions. Is being a king too overqualified to guard for them now?

I rarely did it but now that I can't, I really kind of miss it. It was a pretty good way of bandit hunting. The caravan would bait them in and my army wouldn't be big enough to scare them away. I'd wait until the bandits attacked then join as reinforcements using the caravan's units to soak my losses. It worked especially well when there were multiple caravans all going to the same location.

What am I forgetting?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
