Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Which Gekokujo version?

I've been having some trouble with the most recent version (missing meshes, freelancer glitches), so I'm wondering if I should use one of the older versions. If so, should I install any submods?
