What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? Gru(n)dge Match - Calradic Campaign #17

Man cannot live on butter alone.

This is a harsh reality that the Nordic colonials in Almerra Castle discovered soon after arriving. With supply lines cut and allies a world away, life was a constant struggle for the bearded ruffians. Gone were the days of plentiful fish and bearded women to pleasure. This torturous existence could only be endured for so long.

Tensions flared as desertions became a common occurrence. The final straw was when news of the death of the king, Peasent, arrived. Following a night of drinking and fish salting, Peasent fell off the wall of Sargoth during his midnight stumble around the city. This news broke the Nord colonials, who abandoned Almerra Castle, and set off across Swadia to return to their chilly homes. This flight did not go unnoticed by the Khergits or the Rhodoks. Both former rulers of Almerra, neither was willing to allow the other to reclaim the fortress without a fight.

The Khergit hordes had slaughtered the Rhodok garrison at Almerra nearly a year ago, and Sanjar Khan was eager to repeat this feat. The Rhodoks, suffering from a disastrous election and failed crusades, were desperate for some sort of victory to raise their spirits. And so the armies marched to the fields near Almerra Castle. The horses of the Steppe and the sheep of the mountains enjoyed a moment of peace while their lovers went to war.

In Meta Terms

Welcome to the 17th Calradic Campaign! This event will see the Khergits and Rhodoks attempting to overpower the other and hold Almerra castle. Should the Khanate kick out the Rhodok expeditionary force, they will try to fend off the reinforcing infantry. Should the Rhodoks chase off the raiding Khergits, they will do the same.

/u/SanjarKhan will be leading the Khergits and /u/Lord_Kastor will be leading the Rhodoks. If one of them cannot attend, a marshal will be appointed.

To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required.

This event will run a bit differently than others.

Due to stagnation in change of land, changes have been made for this event and possibly future ones. The Nords have deserted their colony of Almerra, which the Rhodoks and Khergits will fight in the field for. Whichever faction wins will then go on to defend in the siege. If the attackers win the siege, the castle is sacked and it will become inactive on the map. This way, the castle will change hands no matter what outcome. We will be trying out other tactics to allow something to actually happen, so please bear with us.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
