M&B [PoP] found a companion named Trainer. What's with that?

So I'm part of Ravenstern and fighting against those pesky Sarleons and after the conclusion of a battle with random-red-lord-#812753 and his innevitable defeat I take him prisoner and rescue one of my fellow blue lords. After talking with both of them a conversation is triggered (in the after battle screen) with an NPC named "Trainer" and I get the options to take him prisoner, offer him a job or let him go. I chose to recruit him and now I have the dude, lvl 7 with 50 unspent weapon points, 1 attributte point, average stats and almost no skills what-so-ever. His dialogue seems to be partialy broken as some times he greets me with "Greeting, NO STRING;" but otherwise he seems to offer all the options of any other companion. Also the dude is bald and creepy-looking as fuck. Anyone know what fish-hole he emerged from?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
