Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. I have a question about diplomacy in AWOIAF

So I discovered the other night you could execute other lords for high treason. Unfortunately, I also discovered the hard way when you do that the entire realm basically goes hostile against you. Anyone know why this happens, or is it just a bug?
