Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

Is starting your own Kingdom worth it, without Diplomacy Mod?

I have never tried to manage a Kingdom seriously. I started my own Kingdom a few times when i first played the game years back, but I didnt really understand the first thing about it. I just took random castles and tried to defend them.

Now i have somewhat of a better grasp on the entire management side of things (at least in theory) and I can see that, as your kingdom expands, there will be a ton of stuff to manage. Especially to keep vasalls happy when giving out thiefs etc.

Now my question is: How hard is a Victory with your own Kingdom really, without Diplomacy Mod? I heard there are some smaller problems in Vanilla, with you not being able to talk to Lords at your feast cause too many people attend etc. but are there any major dealbreakers that make it almost impossible to win the game with your own Kingdom? What are your experiences with it and what should I especially look out for from the start?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
