Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

What makes you so addicted to Mount and Blade?

Mount and Blade is one of those games I've always adored the concept of, it sounds like something right up my alley and the idea of a medieval sandbox is like a dream game to me. With Bannerlord (hopefully) on the way I booted up Warband and played for a couple of hours. I started a neat little army, captured some lords and then I just stopped. This has happened to me several times now where I'll enjoy Mount and Blade for a while before becoming bored or feeling completely aimless, even if I set myself a goal or have ideas about what I want to do.

I'd love to really get into Warband so it'd be great if you guys and gals could tell me what keeps you playing it, cheers.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
