Most polished complete overhaul mod?

Out of the Game of thrones, Warhammer, Anno Domini 1259 and Empires of Europe mods, which one has the least amount of lag and bugs? I don't mind which one I play, I just want a new experience from vanilla. submitted by /u/Horcsogg [link] [comments]

very unpopular opinion: RBM suck

These are the reasons that made me permanently uninstall this mod

  • RBM gives an "orderly" and technical feel to the battles, almost as if the soldiers were professional fencers in an arena. It's impressive, but:

The AI tries too hard to maintain a duel logic or micro-positioning.

We lose the dirty, chaotic, and brutal nature of real hand-to-hand combat.

There are too many situations where troops fail to exploit their superior numbers or hesitate to "pile on" in the melee.

I'm sorry, but after extensive research, I can confirm that battlefields are bound to quickly become chaotic, and that won't happen in a computer battle.

The main problems I find: the Al's tactics in combat are always the same; each battle is exactly the same.

The battles are really too easy because tier 6 units are invincible, and the Al can never have as many tier 6 units as the player.

The battles are very long, which doesn't bother me, but the lords reappear in a loop (I know this is a vanilla problem, but the mod drives the point home).

Javelins? I don't think I need to explain if you use rbm you know it's a joke.

Let's be clear, I have no problem with realism (for example it doesn't bother me that you have to give 50 sword blows to kill someone in armor) but I find that with this mod the game is too easy and poorly balanced.

To conclude I know that rbm has some good aspects but damn this mod make the game too easy and the mod is clearly not fun and especially not realistic.

What is your point of view ? am i the only one who thinks this ?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
